This is Not From Blade Runner...

...This is Beijing.  My friend is over there for work and took this picture at about 11 AM in downtown Beijing from the office building he was in.  The smog was so bad, he told me his eyes were burning and watering after being outside for just 30 seconds.  Everyone was wearing masks.  He has been there for 5 days and says that 3 of the days were like this.  The other two were clearer, but he was still told to wear the mask.

I have been to Mexico City and Los Angeles numerous times and never saw anything like that.  I would say Beijing has a major Air Pollution Problem.
