Reebok - What the Hell is This?

Is this a running shoe?  It looks like a shoe that is growing tentacles.  Or maybe it has an acne problem. The shoe doesn't look comfortable or efficient when it comes to running.  I have no idea what the premise is to have knobs all over the bottom.  Give me a good old fashioned running shoe any day over these new, space-age, sci-fi looking shoes!
